MAINTENANCE ELECTRICIAN

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in a commercial or industrial setting. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, safety protocols, and the ability to read blueprints and schematics. The Maintenance Electrician will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our operations.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems and equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand system layouts.
- Install, maintain, and repair high voltage and low voltage electrical systems.
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) standards during all work performed.
- Utilize power tools safely and effectively for various tasks.
- Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to ensure optimal operation of all equipment.
- Document all maintenance activities and repairs performed.
EXPERIENCE:
- Proven experience as a commercial or industrial electrician is required.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including high voltage and low voltage applications.
- Familiarity with NEC regulations and safety standards is essential.
- Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment such as voltmeters and ohmmeters.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams accurately.
- Experience with power tools and general maintenance practices is advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are required.

Schedule: All positions at Stewart Glass are day shifts for pre-production. Schedule subject to change, see below, with production hour commencing.
Pre-production Schedule:
All Days: 8am-5pm; M-F
Production Schedule:
Night Shift 6:00 PM 6:00 AM (shift differential for nights)
Day Shift 6:00 AM 6:00 PM
All Shifts: 4 days on, 4 days off
Each employee gets roughly 104 OT hours paid at 1.5x base rate per year with 4 on 4 off schedule.
