Position Summary In your role as a Diffusion Process Technician at Samsung Austin Semiconductor, you’ll be responsible for maintaining our fleet of production tools to support world-class foundry operations 24/7. We prioritize safety, learning, and having fun. You will continuously encounter technical issues that challenge and sharpen your skills. Responsibilities Follow SOPs, PTPs, and Out of Control Action Plans (OCAPs) to work efficiently, safely, and cost-effectively Perform Preventative Maintenance (PM), including mechanical assembly/disassembly on fab equipment Use structured problem solving to help find impactful solutions to complex problems Effectively communicate with engineers, leaders, and teammates Work in a team environment on the cleanroom floor in a full cleanroom smock Required Qualifications High School diploma is required Technical degree preferred but not required Strong analytical and problem solving skills Strong mechanical aptitude highly desired Effective verbal and written communication skills Compensation The current base salary range for this role is between $18.60/hour - $60.40/hour. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience.
