Overview
Registered Nurse – ICU (Travel) for a 13-week assignment in Sonora, California. This night-shift position requires 36 guaranteed hours per week in a short-term acute care hospital setting. Start date: August 31, 2026. Shift: Night, 3x12-hour shifts (6:30 PM–7:00 AM). Weekly pay ranges from $1,752 to $1,758 per week. Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for ICU patients or a defined patient group using the nursing process
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care; adapt plans as patient conditions change
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of nursing staff; coordinate with other disciplines
- Monitor patient data, interpret findings, and respond to changes in patient status
- Participate in discharge planning and provide education to patients and families
- Delegate responsibilities to team members appropriately and ensure safe, effective care delivery

Requirements
- Licensure: Registered Nurse (RN) license active in California
- Experience: Minimum two years of recent ICU/acute care nursing experience
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Certifications: CPR/BLS required; ACLS and PALS required (AHA-ACLS/ARC-ALS and AHA-PALS/ARC-PALS)
- System experience: EPIC electronic medical records experience required or strongly preferred for night shifts
- Additional: Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment and collaborate with the care team
