Job Summary:

As a key member of our Nursing and Rehab Center team, the Maintenance Director is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of our state-of-the-art facility in Mobile, AL. Our ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facility management and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities to ensure the facility is clean, safe, and well-maintained at all times

• Develop and implement maintenance schedules, budgets, and policies to ensure efficient use of resources

• Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues in a timely and cost-effective manner

• Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure that equipment and facilities meet patient needs and regulatory requirements

• Recruit, train, and supervise maintenance staff to ensure effective use of resources and compliance with regulations

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inventory, and equipment maintenance

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience physcial plant operations in a skilled-nursing care center

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

• Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety protocols

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and navigate facility

• Knowledge of NFPA and Life Safety Code regulations
