ARMHS Mental Health Practitioner

Position Overview Residential Services, Inc. (RSI) has a full‑time Mental Health Practitioner opening with our Adult Rehabilitative Mental Health Services (ARMHS) program in Virginia, MN. Responsibilities As an ARMHS Practitioner, you will work with adults living with mental illness, providing support within their home or in the community and working on their Individual Treatment Plan goals. You’ll help create Individual Treatment Plans and ensure they are implemented, reviewed, and revised as necessary. You’ll work closely with RSI’s ARMHS Treatment Director for continued guidance and instruction. Position Details This position is 40 hours per week with flexible scheduling. Qualifications & Requirements Required prerequisites: Pass a post‑offer background and MVR check. Valid driver’s license with no restriction and a working vehicle. Must also meet at least one of the following: At least 30 semester hours or 45 quarter hours in behavioral sciences or related field and 2,000 hours of experience with individuals with mental illness, substance use disorder, traumatic brain injury, or developmental disabilities. At least 30 semester hours or 45 quarter hours in behavioral sciences or related field and completed a practicum or internship that focused on behavioral sciences or related field requiring direct interaction with individuals served. 4,000 hours of experience delivering services to individuals with mental illness, substance use disorder, traumatic brain injury, or developmental disabilities. 2,000 hours of experience providing services to individuals with the above conditions and receive treatment supervision at least once per week until obtaining 4,000 hours of experience.
