Conveyor Technician IIPosition SummaryThe Conveyor Technician II is responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on conveyor systems, Material Handling Equipment (MHE), automation equipment, and facility infrastructure within a fast-paced distribution center environment. This role focuses on maximizing equipment uptime through troubleshooting, repairs, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives.Candidates must have hands-on conveyor maintenance and troubleshooting experience.Location: Litchfield Park, AZ | Pay: $29-$35/hour based on experienceEssential ResponsibilitiesPerform preventive and corrective maintenance on conveyor systems, sortation equipment, material handling equipment (MHE), and automated systems.Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and robotic equipment.Diagnose equipment failures and restore systems to operational status while minimizing downtime.Utilize a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to manage work orders, document repairs, and track maintenance activities.Perform maintenance on facility systems including lighting, plumbing, rack systems, guardrails, and general building infrastructure.Support maintenance and repair of motors, drives, sensors, controls, and automation equipment.Perform battery changes and preventive maintenance on batteries and charging systems.Maintain inventory of spare parts, tools, and maintenance supplies.Assist with welding, fabrication, carpentry, and facility repair projects as needed.Support continuous improvement and equipment reliability initiatives.Safely operate Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT), including forklifts, pallet jacks, and personnel lifts.Follow all safety procedures, OSHA standards, and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) requirements.Communicate effectively with operations, leadership, and fellow maintenance team members.Required QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED preferred.Minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience supporting conveyor systems, Material Handling Equipment (MHE), automation equipment, or facility maintenance.Strong experience troubleshooting and repairing conveyor systems.Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and automated equipment.Experience using a CMMS/work order management system.Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics.Ability to operate forklifts and other Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT).Willingness to obtain and maintain WSI Certification.Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed in a 24/7 operation.Preferred QualificationsExperience with automated distribution centers, warehouse operations, or high-speed conveyor environments.PLC troubleshooting experience.Robotics and automation experience.Welding and fabrication experience.Building maintenance experience, including plumbing, lighting, and carpentry.Experience supporting sortation systems and automated material handling equipment.Physical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 75 pounds regularly.Ability to bend, stoop, climb, reach, and work at heights.Ability to safely use hand tools and power tools.Ability to work in varying temperatures, dust, noise, and around moving equipment.Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, lifts, and other industrial equipment.Must-Have Experience Conveyor Maintenance & Troubleshooting Material Handling Equipment (MHE) Preventive & Corrective Maintenance Mechanical & Electrical Troubleshooting CMMS / Work Order Systems Distribution Center, Warehouse, or Manufacturing Environment ExperienceApply Today!If you're a skilled maintenance professional who enjoys troubleshooting, problem-solving, and working with advanced equipment, we want to hear from you.Apply today and take the next step in your career with PDS Tech Commercial!Pay Details:$29.00 to $35.00 per hourBenefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
