Clinical Site Manager Management Marrero, LA, US 2 days ago Requisition ID: 1086 GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES: The Site Manager is primarily responsible for ensuring the delivery of quality healthcare services and efficient daily operations at the assigned clinic site(s) under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON). Serves as a member of InclusivCare's management team. Accountable for the administrative oversight of the clinic. Coordinates daily clinic activities by assigning duties to subordinate staff members. Follows and adheres to all federal, state, and local regulations. Complies with the standard of care, adhering to InclusivCare's guidelines, protocols, policies, and procedures, including certifying and accrediting agencies and bodies. Acts as a liaison between clinical and non-clinical staff members, providers, patients, hospitals, and other external health care agencies. SUPERVISION EXERCISED : Directly supervises Medical Assistants (MA) and indirectly supervises ancillary staff in collaboration with the practice manager. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Oversees the daily workflow, staffing, orientation, development, and training of employees assigned to the clinic. Directs, monitors, supervises, and delegates daily clinic activities to the staff. Prioritizes assignments to meet productivity requirements. Ensures adequate staffing coverage for the clinic site(s). Provide direct patient care when required. Adjusts to the clinic’s fast-paced environment by accommodating unforeseen patient/clinical activity. Maintains current clinical knowledge, demonstrating competency and functions as a clinical resource. Maintains required competencies for all direct reports within the clinic. Seeks professional growth by participating in Continuing Education (CE) activities to maintain and enhance clinical knowledge and technical skills annually. Mentors staff, while providing ongoing clinical direction: guiding the staff to formulate, implement and evaluate their interventions to improve the patient’s health outcomes. Participates in the hiring process as needed: interviewing, selecting, and providing candidate recommendations. Completes annual Performance Evaluations and/or Performance Improvement Plans (PIP) in a timely manner. Conducts and participates in disciplinary actions, as needed, and/or required. Practices and maintains all federal, state, and local regulations, guidelines, protocols, and standards of care ensuring staff compliance and continuity of patient care. Understands and consistently complies with the organization’s policies and procedures. Responsible for the clinic’s ongoing Environment of Care, Infection Control, Quality and Process Improvement processes. Prepares and completes necessary reports and documents, thoroughly and accurately, in a timely manner. Facilitates the clinic’s morning meetings, afternoon huddles and staff meetings. Participates in committees and task forces; and attends professional meetings and trainings, as required. Communicates pertinent information and notifies the DON of clinic issues that may arise immediately. Interacts with the medical staff, and other leaders of the organization, by building relationships and establishing trust and rapport to deliver quality patient care. Utilizes problem-solving, critical-thinking and conflict-resolution skills to build effective work relationships among and with staff members, clearly and concisely presenting ideas and solutions; across interdepartmental lines to resolve issues, which could potentially interrupt patient care delivery. Follows through on commitments and accepts responsibility for personal actions. Represents the organization in a positive and professional manner at times. Promotes and models professional behavior on a continuous basis and leads by example regarding Customer Service Excellence. Works in collaboration with the DON to develop and implement the following: Staffing Models Clinic Goals Operational Policies and Procedures Organizational and Community Specific Projects Oversees the clinic’s budget and financial performance in conjunction with the DON. Actively works with senior management team to stay within the budget and supports cost saving measures and initiatives. In collaboration with the senior management team, monitor site specific productivity goals and objectives. Supports current organizational initiatives, such as Emergency Preparedness, exhibits creativity and flexibility in times of change. Participate in community outreach activities as needed. Preform other duties and tasks as assigned and/or needed. QUALIFICATIONS: Experienced in Medical/Surgical Nursing, Emergency Room or Ambulatory Care. Five years of management and/or supervisory experience required. . EDUCATION : Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with successful completion of an approved and accredited Practical Nursing program; or a Registered Nurse (RN) with an associate or bachelor's degree in Nursing required. Master's Degree in Nursing Preferred. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Strong leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills. Self-directed and good time-management skills Excellent communication skills, both written and orally. Strong Computer skills. Proficient utilization of the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Microsoft Office suite. Maintain confidentiality. Handles and determine the appropriate course of action in complex and difficult situations. Utilizes data and evidence-based research to achieve and improve health outcomes. Manages medical inventory and organizational resources properly. Embraces concepts and behaviors that enhance customer satisfaction and employee morale; retaining, and engaging staff members. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Must be an LPN with a current Louisiana State Practical Nurse Examiners license; or a RN with a current Louisiana State Board of Nursing license. Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required. Certification in specialty area, if applicable. PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT : The employee is regularly required to sit, stand, and/or walk; use their arms, hands, and fingers. Communicates with others to exchange information. Occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
