Compensation: $70,000 - $80,000 / year

Our client is seeking a motivated Buyer who thrives in a fast-paced, product-driven environment. This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing analytical decision-making with relationship management and is eager to take ownership of purchasing activities that directly impact business performance.

Key Responsibilities
• Oversee purchasing activities from initial research through order placement, ensuring timely and accurate procurement
• Monitor inventory levels and demand patterns to support effective replenishment and stock availability
• Identify and evaluate new suppliers, products, and sourcing opportunities to support business growth
• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors while resolving order issues and ensuring reliable supply
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and agreements to achieve cost savings and maximize value
• Partner with internal teams to align purchasing efforts with operational needs and timelines
• Track industry trends, product changes, and seasonal fluctuations to inform buying decisions
• Proactively manage order status, including expediting shipments and addressing delays as needed

Qualifications
• Experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain within a distribution or product-based environment preferred
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Effective communication and negotiation skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
