Senior Project Manager (Data Center Construction)

Construction Project Manager – Data Center (Design-Build Focus) Are you an experienced Project Manager who thrives at the intersection of high-level strategy and complex field execution? Do you have a track record of delivering mission-critical infrastructure? We are seeking a strategic Construction Project Manager to lead the execution of a large-scale data center project for a hyperscale client. In this role, you will drive performance across design-build teams, ensure alignment with client goals, and serve as the key liaison to owner’s representatives and executive stakeholders. Reports To: Project Executive What You’ll Do As a pivotal leader on this project, you will bridge the gap between ownership, design, and construction: Lead the Project Lifecycle: Manage everything from preconstruction and design-build integration through commissioning and final turnover. Owner & Stakeholder Relations: Act as the central point of contact for the owner's rep, translating complex field updates into strategic reporting for executive stakeholders. Design-Build Integration: Oversee the performance of design-build partners to ensure constructability, cost-effectiveness, and technical compliance. Infrastructure Oversight: Coordinate critical MEP systems, civil/site development, and structural integration, ensuring everything is fully integrated and ready for commissioning. Project Controls: Monitor schedules, budgets, and risk mitigation plans to keep this fast-paced project on track. Experience: 7+ years in construction management, with a heavy focus on data centers or mission-critical projects. Delivery Model Expertise: Proven success in design-build or Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) environments. Owner's rep experience is highly preferred. Technical Savvy: Deep understanding of complex MEP systems and data center infrastructure. Proficient with P6/MS Project and tools like Procore, Bluebeam, or BIM 360. Communication: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence both site crews and executive-level clients. Preferred Extras Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture. Prior experience delivering hyperscale projects in partnership with major tech firms.
