Position Type: Locum | Physician - Interventional Cardiology
Overview

Seeking a Board-Certified Interventional Cardiologist for a locum opportunity to support an open requisition . This role is primarily inpatient with call responsibilities , working in a well-equipped facility using EPIC EMR .
Practice Highlights

Inpatient coverage with call
Adult to geriatric patient population
No supervision of other providers required
No additional interventional cardiologists onsite during coverage
Advanced cath lab capabilities
EMR: EPIC

Scope of Practice / Required Procedures

Heart Catheterization
Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI)
Coronary & Balloon Angioplasties
Carotid Artery Stenting
Coronary Angiograms
Embolic Protection
Atherectomy

Schedule & Credentialing

Call-based coverage for specific dates
Estimated credentialing timeframe: ~120 days

Candidate Requirements

Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology - REQUIRED
Active Virginia license & DEA - REQUIRED (no exceptions)
BLS & ACLS - REQUIRED
Fellowship Trained - Highly Preferred
Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days - REQUIRED
Clean professional record required
