Service Manager Action Garage Door | Meridian / Boise, Idaho Full-Time | On-Site Base Salary: $80,000 + Performance Bonus Total Compensation Potential: $100,000–$120,000+ Build a Winning Team. Develop Great Technicians. Drive Results. Action Garage Door is looking for a Service Manager to lead and develop our residential service team in the Treasure Valley. This is not a desk‑management position. We are looking for a hands‑on leader who loves developing people, understands the relationship between great service and strong sales performance, and knows how to turn daily coaching into measurable results. The right leader will spend time in the field with technicians, coach opportunities in real time, use data to identify performance gaps, and create a culture where technicians consistently deliver an exceptional customer experience while maximizing every opportunity. What You'll Own Lead, coach, and develop our residential service technicians Drive service revenue, sales performance, and profitability Improve opportunity conversion, average ticket, and technician productivity Conduct regular ride-alongs and in-field coaching Review calls, estimates, invoices, and technician performance Coach technicians on presenting options and creating an exceptional customer experience Establish clear individual goals and hold the team accountable Lead daily huddles, weekly meetings, and individual performance conversations Identify training needs and build development plans for technicians Partner with Dispatch and the Call Center to maximize capacity and opportunity Ensure technicians consistently follow Action Garage Door and ServiceTitan processes Recruit, onboard, train, and retain high-performing technicians Resolve escalated customer concerns quickly and professionally Recognize top performers while quickly addressing performance gaps What We're Looking For 3+ years of leadership experience in a service organization Proven ability to coach and develop frontline employees Strong understanding of customer service and consultative selling Comfortable managing through KPIs, scorecards, and performance data Willingness to spend significant time in the field coaching technicians Strong communication and accountability skills Ability to build trust while maintaining high performance expectations Experience in garage doors, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or another home-service trade strongly preferred ServiceTitan experience strongly preferred Compensation & Benefits Base Salary: $80,000 + Performance Bonus Total Compensation Potential: $100,000–$120,000+ Benefits include: Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance 401(k) with Company Match Paid Time Off & Paid Holidays Company-Paid Life Insurance Short-Term & Long-Term Disability Professional Development & Leadership Training Career Advancement Opportunities within Action Garage Door and Guild Garage Group Why Action Garage Door?
