Job Description The Workforce Development department is seeking a qualified Program Coordinator to oversee the operational success and quality of Workforce Development and college credit programs. Key responsibilities include program implementation, federal reporting compliance, student career preparation, and partnership development. Responsibilities Work directly with college offices to ensure enrollment at full capacity. Collaborate with marketing, admission and registrar’s teams to enroll students in the program. Facilitate placement tests and new student orientation sessions. Implement standardized program evaluation metrics across the program. Ensure timely and accurate reporting of program outcomes, performance indicators, and compliance audits. Work with the business office on programming expenses, ensuring adherence to financial guidelines and grant requirements. Facilitate student surveys and prepare reports. Coordinate with the WD department to include college and career readiness activities, including setting up events. Utilize technology to enter students’ information into the grant reporting system. Ensure students receive career and internship services and participate in college events. Assist students in resume writing, interview skills, and job/internship placement. Support students through selection processes at worksites to meet employer expectations. Build and expand employer partnerships and develop internship placements for QC students. Provide career counseling to students individually or in groups. Prepare and implement career development workshops based on industry needs. Develop and implement career development plans. Assist students in understanding strengths, weaknesses, and interests toward employment outcomes. Conduct research on career options and the job market. Maintain student records and provide progress reports. Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and college staff. Follow policies and procedures outlined by the VP of Workforce, Economic, and Institutional Development. Perform other duties as assigned by the VP or Director of Career Development and Internships. Qualifications Experience overseeing training programs, ideally up to 3 years. Excellent organizational, computer, oral and written communication skills. Experience using technology in the classroom. Ability to adapt teaching styles and materials to meet individual student needs. Training & Travel Must participate in mandatory training/coursework, including Title IX and Sexual Misconduct; Sexual Harassment and Non-Discrimination; Security Policy and Notification of Security Reporting; FERPA; Municipal Ethics Law Assignment. Travel to both Quincy and Plymouth campuses and other local travel may be required.
