Clinical Support Specialist

Providing essential administrative and operational support for remote physician advisors, the full-time Clinical Support Specialist will manage appeal letter requests, maintain access to client EMRs, and coordinate peer-to-peer reviews in a remote work environment. Key responsibilities Facilitate appeal letter requests by preparing medical records, confirming deadlines, and communicating with payers Maintain access to client EMRs and prepare extracts for physician advisor case reviews Schedule and coordinate peer-to-peer reviews and triage case requests to meet completion deadlines Required qualifications High School degree or GED or equivalent experience 2 years of general business administration experience in a professional setting Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced skills in Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities Experience with electronic medical records (EMRs) is preferred Virtual Vocations Inc
