Job Duties Operate sit-down/stand-up forklifts, reach trucks, cherry pickers, and pallet jacks. Load, unload, move, and store materials safely and efficiently. Handle hazardous materials and secure shipments for transport. Use RF scanners to track inventory and rotate stock. Inspect loads for accuracy, quality, and damage; report issues. Maintain inventory records, shipping documents, and product weights. Perform basic equipment inspections and report repair needs. Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.

Education Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous warehouse training or powered industrial truck training is beneficial.

Experience Requirements Experience operating forklifts or other powered industrial equipment safely and efficiently. Ability to load, unload, move, stack, and organize palletized materials. Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and safe equipment operation. Ability to accurately identify inventory, shipping documentation, and storage locations. Strong attention to detail, dependable attendance, and commitment to workplace safety. Previous experience in warehouse, distribution, logistics, manufacturing, or shipping and receiving is preferred. Current forklift certification or experience operating multiple classes of powered industrial equipment is beneficial. Experience using RF scanners, warehouse management systems (WMS), or inventory software is considered an asset.

Physical Capabilities Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and climb on and off powered industrial equipment throughout the shift. Ability to lift, move, or reposition materials weighing up to 50 pounds when required. Ability to safely operate forklifts in busy warehouse and manufacturing environments. Ability to maintain awareness of surrounding personnel, equipment, and inventory while operating powered industrial vehicles.
