Job Title: Mammography Technologist

Job Summary

Adecco Healthcare & LifeSciences is looking for a skilled Mammography Technologist to perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures in a dynamic teaching and research environment. This role involves working closely with radiologists, assisting with advanced procedures, and ensuring high-quality imaging while maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography exams with precision and care

• Assist radiologists with procedures including biopsies, FNAs, and wire localizations

• Educate patients on procedures and guide them through the imaging process

• Ensure accurate completion of patient documentation and questionnaires

• Obtain, review, and manage imaging through PACS systems

• Evaluate image quality and perform additional imaging as needed

• Prepare and maintain equipment, including quality assurance and troubleshooting

• Assist with specimen handling and transport following biopsy procedures

• Charge procedures and supplies accurately within Radiology Information Systems

• Maintain compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards

Required Qualifications

• Active California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) License

• Mammography Certification (MAM)

• BLS Certification

Required Skills & Knowledge

• Strong understanding of mammography positioning, including routine and specialized views

• Knowledge of radiographic imaging techniques, equipment, and image processing

• Familiarity with PACS and radiology systems

• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare teams

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality care

• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical setting

• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology related to imaging

Pay Details: $70.00 to $75.00 per hour
