Registered Nurse Endoscopy/GI

Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled Endoscopy Registered Nurse to provide quality care in a high-volume GI setting. The RN will perform endoscopic procedures, manage patient sedation, and ensure safety throughout each shift.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Administer procedural sedation and monitor patient vital signs during endoscopic procedures.
  
  
• 
  Assist physicians with endoscopy procedures, ensuring all equipment and supplies are prepared.
  
  
• 
  Evaluate patient condition pre- and post-procedure, providing appropriate post-care instructions.
  
  
• 
  Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, medications, and patient responses.
  
  
• 
  Ensure compliance with safety and infection control standards.
  
  
• 
  Take on-call responsibilities as required, supporting extended coverage needs.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold current California RN license and active BLS, ACLS certifications.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate at least 2 years of recent endoscopy/GI nursing experience.
  
  
• 
  Have prior travel nursing experience, with at least 24 weeks completed.
  
  
• 
  Possess strong procedural sedation skills and knowledge of GI procedures.
  
  
• 
  Capable of working 8-hour day shifts, with flexibility for varying hours and call.
  
  
• 
  Must not have worked in a perm role at this facility and be available for a 12-week assignment.
