ED Team Coordinator 1

Performs clerical duties, order and data entry utilizing multiple computer systems. Effectively communicate and facilitate all departmental orders and results to ED staff. Serves as front-line departmental ambassador in customer service. Maintain a professional demeanor with internal and external personnel. Work in conjunction with the ED team in order to expedite patient care and throughput and provide excellent quality care in a family oriented hospital setting. Estimated pay range for this position is $16.28 - $20.68 / hour depending on experience.

Degrees: High School,Cert,GED,Trn,Exper. Licenses & Certifications: Basic Life Support. Additional Qualifications: Previous experience as a Unit Secretary/Adm Partner desired. Completion of a medical terminology course or previous experience in admitting/emergency or physician office (preferred). Strong verbal and written communication skills, skilled in negotiation and conflict resolution, peer respect, critical thinking skills, self-motivated, customer service skills and/or orientation. Exhibits flexibility in scheduling to adapt to special circumstance prior and ability to multitask. Boca/Bethesda Only: BLS certification obtained within 6 mo. for employees hired prior to 4/30/2023.
