Details 24-bed stepdown unit with a 1:3 patient ratio Common patient population includes respiratory disease processes, neurological disorders, chronic illnesses, and COVID Administers drips including insulin, cardizem, heparin, Lasix, precedex, and low-dose pressors Uses Epic EMR D/N rotation shift schedule Weekend requirement of 5 shifts every 6 weeks Holiday coverage required every other holiday First to float 3-day floor orientation No on-call requirements Requirements Active RN license (VA or Compact) currently in hand Current certifications: BLS (AHA) and ACLS Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required Additional Information Care for stepdown patients with up to 3 patients per nurse Scrub requirements: navy blue or solid white tops and pants, with matching solid navy blue or white jackets, and navy or white long-sleeve undershirts if worn American Traveler Job ID P-758857.
