Job Summary

Provide direct inpatient psychiatric care, supervise residents, medical students, clinical psychology graduate students, and other trainees within our University Hospital Psychiatry team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct inpatient patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and medication management.
• Teach and supervise psychiatry residents, medical students, clinical psychology graduate students, and other trainees.
• Engage in clinical research and quality improvement initiatives in inpatient psychiatry.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic patient care.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Completion of an ACGME‑accredited residency in Psychiatry.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Psychiatry.
• Eligible for Texas medical licensure.
• Training in interventional psychiatry (ECT, ketamine‑based therapies, and TMS) is a plus but not required.
• Strong commitment to clinical excellence, education, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
