About the Role:
Join the vibrant team at New Gneration Bakery as an Assistant Baker/Packager! In this role, you will play a key part in creating delicious baked goods that our community loves, while ensuring that every product is perfectly packaged and ready for our customers.
Day Shift, Monday-FridayResponsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and baking of a variety of baked goods, including breads, pastries, and cookies.
- Measure and mix ingredients according to established recipes and standards.
- Monitor baking times and temperatures to ensure product quality.
- Package finished products efficiently and accurately for sale.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the baking area and equipment.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals.
- Participate in inventory management and restocking of supplies as needed.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; culinary experience is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Basic knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
- Passion for baking and a positive attitude!
