Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient assessments, inclusive of physical exams and extensive medical history evaluations
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions by interpreting imaging and lab results
• Partner closely with surgeons to formulate and carry out personalized surgical treatment plans
• Provide critical intraoperative support, which includes preparing operating rooms, ensuring accurate patient positioning, and passing surgical instruments during procedures
• Offer exceptional pre- and post-operative care, including administering medications, managing wounds, planning discharges, and educating patients

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Experience in clinical rotations with a surgical specialty is strongly preferred

Credentials

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification
• Required certifications in BLS and ACLS
• State licensure (or eligibility) to practice as a Physician Assistant
