The primary focus of this position is assisting with general dental treatment and providing exceptional patient care. Responsibilities Assist the dentist chairside during general dental procedures Prepare and sterilize treatment rooms and instruments following infection control protocols Take dental X-rays and maintain accurate patient charting and records Provide exceptional patient care and help create a positive patient experience Educate patients on treatment recommendations and post-operative instructions Maintain cleanliness and organization of operatories and clinical areas Assist with patient flow and support daily clinical operations Support the Invisalign workflow as needed, including iTero scans, attachments, tray delivery, and patient education (training provided) Monitor and track general dentistry cases Assist with administrative and clinical tasks as needed to support the team Qualifications Minimum 3 years of dental assisting experience preferred X-ray certification required (per Florida regulations) Prior experience working in a dental office environment Familiarity with OpenDental software preferred Experience with dental X-rays and digital imaging technology iTero and Invisalign experience is a plus, but not required (training provided) Strong understanding of dental terminology and general dentistry procedures Knowledge of infection control and sterilization protocols Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality requirements Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment Positive attitude, professionalism, and strong work ethic Join a modern, team-oriented practice where you can continue growing your dental career while helping create confident, healthy smiles every day!
