(EOR) is seeking a Lead Proposal Coordinator to join our Marketing / Business Development Team in Madison, WI or St. Paul, MN. EOR is an engineering and environmental consulting firm specializing in WATER, ECOLOGY, and COMMUNITY services. Description A person with a passion for writing, editing, and formatting professional marketing documents, and the ability to manage marketing support systems. Typical weeks involve multiple deadlines and responsibilities. Collaboration with diverse teams to produce well‑written, visually captivating, brand‑specific collateral is essential. Primary Responsibilities Review opportunities and coordinate the go/no‑go process. Work directly with marketing leadership to vet opportunities and manage the proposal calendar. Lead the coordination, preparation, and production of proposals. Ensure consistent use of EOR’s branding standards throughout the proposal process and related collateral. Develop compelling visual designs that communicate EOR capabilities. Provide review and quality control of proposals: edit content for readability, consistency, clarity, and compliance with client requirements. Interpret and distill highly technical information for mainstream audiences. Required Qualifications Associate’s degree in marketing, business development, or a similar field with 3+ years of proposal coordinator experience OR a Bachelor’s degree with 1+ years of experience. Excellent writing, proofreading, and editing skills. Adobe InDesign expertise. Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Self‑motivation and ability to thrive under pressure while fostering a positive culture. Attention to detail and ability to follow EOR’s brand guidelines, adapting the aesthetic approach when necessary. Preferred Qualifications Direct experience in the A&E consulting industry. Graphic design experience and/or credentials. English and/or technical writing experience and/or credentials. Background in Science/Engineering and/or Business/Communications. Entry Level Civil Engineer – Madison, WI Support a multidisciplinary team with a challenging design portfolio, including parks, green stormwater infrastructure, subsystems, renewable energy, site development, and ecosystem restoration. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering field, 0‑4 years of engineering experience, proficiency with AutoCAD (Civil 3D), and strong writing and communication skills. Location: St. Paul, MN, Madison, WI, or Boone, IA with work‑from‑home flexibility. Salary range: $80,000‑$130,000 with potential end‑of‑year bonus. Water Resource or Civil Engineer – Boone, IA Lead project work and mentor staff on water resources and civil engineering projects, focusing on leadership, communication, and client relationships. Requirements: Civil Engineering degree, 5+ years experience, licensed as a Professional Engineer in Iowa (or ability to obtain within 6 months), and documented project management experience. Salary range: $80,000‑$115,000 with end‑of‑year bonus potential. Junior Hydrogeologist – Canada (Edmonton, Calgary, or Red Deer) Perform field and office duties including groundwater sampling, monitoring, modeling, report writing, and marketing support. Requirements: Bachelor’s in geology or related field, 5+ years experience, valid geologist registration (or ability to obtain in 1 year), and ability to work outdoors. Good writing and computer skills required. Salary range: $75,000‑$130,000 with potential end‑of‑year bonus. Land Surveyor – Saint Paul, MN Conduct land survey services, research documents, perform surveys, and support design teams with CAD productions. Requirements: Registered Land Surveyor licensure in MN (or ability to obtain within 6 months), Bachelor’s in land surveying or related field, 5+ years experience, and GPS/Autocad proficiency. Salary starts at $75,000 with potential end‑of‑year bonus.
