North Beach Rehabilitation Center , a skilled nursing facility in North Miami, is currently seeking a dedicated and qualified Certified Nursing Assistant - Full Time to join the team! Pay: $15.50 - $16.50 hourly

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at North Beach Rehabilitation Center , you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to our patients. Your role will involve:

• Providing patients' personal hygiene by giving bedpans, urinals, baths, shampoos, and shaves; assisting with travel to the bathroom; helping with showers and baths.

• Providing for activities of daily living by assisting with serving meals, feeding patients as necessary; ambulating, turning, and positioning patients; providing fresh water and nourishment between meals.

• Providing adjunct care by administering enemas, douches, nonsterile dressings, surgical preps, ice packs, heat treatments, sitz and therapeutic baths; applying restraints.

• Maintaining patient stability by checking vital signs and weight; testing urine; recording intake and output information.

• Providing patient comfort by utilizing resources and materials; transporting patients; answering patients' call lights and requests; reporting observations of the patient to nursing supervisor.

• Documenting actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.

• Serving and protecting the nursing community by adhering to professional standards, hospital policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements, and JCAHO standards.

• Updating job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; participating in professional organizations; maintaining licensure.

Requirements:

• Current Nursing Assistant certification in good standing from the state of Florida.

• Current/active CPR certification, required.

• Effective verbal and written English communication.

• Prior experience working in a Nursing Home
