QA EngineerLocation: San Jose, CAType of Hire: CWRPrimary responsibilities:Creation and review of test strategies, test designs, test cases and test automation suitesReviews of chalk talks and functional specifications created by the development team to understand product functionalityReview user documentation to ensure it clearly documents product functionalityWork closely with a multi-site team of developers and testers to coordinate and execute test activitiesWork closely with the development, SQA, and the support team to ensure a high-quality productEstablish cross-functional relationships to improve the testability of productsAutomation expertise using ProtractorRequirements (must haves):Bachelor of Engineering with a minimum of 6 years of hands-on test experience or Master's with 4 years of experienceTest experience with enterprise systems in Windows and Linux environmentsStrong knowledge of various types of testing such as functional, negative, boundary, performance, scale, longevity testing, etc.Good knowledge of Enterprise Client/Server Java and HTML/Web ApplicationsUI automation experience with Protractor, SeleniumTest automation experience with REST using Python/Java/Perl etcExcellent written and verbal communication skills.Highly desired:Experience of working in Agile development-testing environmentsTesting experience with multi-node, containerized, rich internet applicationsAbility to understand customer problems and work to improve these issuesProven track record of understanding ambiguous problems and driving practical solutionsStrong experience operating in Agile/Scrum, DevOps, or other results-driven SDLCsExcellent communication, collaboration, reporting, analytical and problem-solving skillsFounded in 2007, InterSources Inc is a Small Business Enterprise (SBE), Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) & Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) certified Company specializing in providing IT Consulting, IT Staffing Solutions, and Software solutions.
