School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Hayward, California
$47.53 - $67.53 per hourSoliant Health
Make a meaningful impact by supporting students' communication development in a rewarding school-based setting. In this contract role, you will work full-time, dedicating 37.5 hours per week to provide speech and language support to a diverse K-12 caseload of approximately 37-41 students. The assignment spans from August 13th to June 5th within a single school location, fostering continuity of care and allowing you to build strong rapport with students and staff.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active SLP - CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Valid California state licensure as an SLP
- Experience with school-aged children (K-12) preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Deliver assessment, diagnosis, and therapy for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and school staff to support students' academic and social success
- Maintain thorough documentation of progress, evaluations, and case management
- Support a varied group of learners in one school location, enabling consistent, high-quality services
- Consistent weekday schedule, culminating before the summer break for work-life balance
