Senior Reinsurance Analyst

Duration: 6-month contract (potential for extension and conversion) Location: Remote Pay Range: $30 - $45/hr

Must-Haves:

• 6+ years of relevant reinsurance/insurance experience.
• Strong knowledge of Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance, reinsurance performance, and risk metrics.
• Subject matter expertise in reinsurance contract structures and terms.
• Advanced Excel skills for large data sets (data analysis, charting, pivot tables, vlookups, etc.).
• Experience working with reinsurance systems and/or software.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead meetings, facilitate discussions, and coordinate closely with external brokers and internal teams (Actuarial, Finance, Claims).

Nice to Have:

• Coursework initiated or completed towards CPCU (Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter) and/or ARe (Associate in Reinsurance) designations.
• Experience monitoring catastrophe risk and understanding AM Best's perspective/impact on BCAR.

Education/Certifications:

• Bachelor's degree required (Business or Insurance-related major preferred).
