Ammonia Service Technician

Benefits Include: Medical Vision 401(k) Life Insurance Responsibilities: Perform installation and alteration of refrigeration systems and related equipment/facilities. Familiar with start-up and shut-down processes in production plants. Ability to troubleshoot electrical components with the meter when equipment is down. Perform PMs, maintain all assigned equipment and systems, and ensure all systems are performing in a safe and functional manner at all times. Repair and maintain all assigned systems/equipment throughout the plant and ensure they operate according to the required standards. Maintain and perform preventative maintenance activities and conduct repairs on all assigned systems/equipment. Qualifications: Ammonia refrigeration experience or refrigeration experience. Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills. The ability to perform in a fast-paced environment. Experience with air compressors and associated control systems. Good communication skills to ensure timely repairs of equipment and issues that arise. 3+ years of experience as a Refrigeration Technician in an industrial environment. Knowledge of EPA regulations. Knowledge of industrial ammonia refrigeration systems and compressors. Ammonia refrigeration troubleshooting and repair. Ability to climb ladders and stairs. Ability to work in a wide variety of temperatures. Will be required to work weekends as needed to meet customer needs. Basic computer skills. Ability to work unsupervised. Company vehicle, phone, and laptop provided.
