Data Center Engineer

We are seeking a Data Center L1 Support Engineer to provide onsite rack and stack support within a data center environment. The role involves the physical installation, cabling, labeling, and basic validation of IT infrastructure equipment while coordinating with remote technical teams. Key Responsibilities: Rack and stack servers, switches, routers, storage devices, and related hardware. Install, route, label, and dress copper and fiber cabling. Perform hardware installation, relocation, replacement, and decommissioning activities. Follow rack elevation diagrams and installation instructions. Provide basic smart hands/remote hands support to remote engineers. Capture site photographs and maintain installation documentation. Adhere to data center safety, security, and operational procedures. Required Skills: Basic knowledge of data center operations and IT infrastructure. Experience with rack & stack and structured cabling activities. Familiarity with servers, network devices, and cable management practices. Ability to work independently and follow technical instructions. Good communication and documentation skills. Preferred Experience: Data Center Technician, Smart Hands, Field Engineer, or Infrastructure Support experience. Basic understanding of copper and fiber connectivity. #J-18808-Ljbffr
