Forklift Operator

Royal Hawaiian Movers, Inc. has immediate openings for qualified Forklift Operator(s) with at least 1 year of forklift and warehouse experience to join our warehouse in Honolulu. Pay: $20.00 Key Duties and Responsibilities Material Handling: Safely operate sit‑down, stand‑up, reach trucks, or pallet jacks to transport goods between receiving, storage, and shipping areas. Loading and Unloading: Load and unload inbound/outbound trailers/containers, securing, shrink‑wrapping pallets to prevent damage during transit. Inventory Control: Accurately pick orders, rotate stock, track merchandise using RF scanners or Warehouse Management System (WMS). Safety Compliance: Conduct OSHA‑required daily equipment checks; report hazards immediately and maintain a clean, hazard‑free work zone. Equipment Maintenance: Perform basic upkeep and escalating mechanical issues. Required Education, Experience, Skills, and Abilities Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience: 1+ years of proven warehouse or heavy machinery (forklift) operating experience. Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication; excellent hand‑eye coordination; basic math/computer skills. Work Environment: Operators usually work in a busy, fast‑paced distribution or fulfillment center. Shifts: Shifts may include nights, weekends, and overtime occasionally to meet delivery demands.
