Licensed Mental Health Therapist - Tacoma

Overview Lightheart Mental Health, a member of Transformations Care Network (TCN), is hiring Licensed Mental Health Therapists to provide culturally sensitive, strength‑based care to clients in our community. Responsibilities Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new clients and families. Provide tailored outpatient individual and family therapy based on each client’s unique needs and circumstances. Develop comprehensive crisis, safety, relapse prevention, and wellness plans. Participate in case consultations, agency meetings, and discharge planning. Ensure timely completion of billing, documentation, treatment plans, and insurance authorization forms. Engage in collaborative care with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, dietitians, administrative staff, and fellow therapists for a holistic approach to mental health care. Qualifications Master’s or doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field. Current and active professional license in Washington State or eligibility for licensure by hire. Passionate about mental health and committed to high-quality care. Committed to ongoing professional development and continuing education. Willingness to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance client care. Strong ethical practice and confidentiality in all interactions. Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients and families. Ability to manage time effectively and complete documentation and administrative tasks efficiently.
