Primary Care Physician - Responsibilities

• The physician will provide services to the surrounding CBOC facilities.
• Conduct comprehensive medical assessments of patients to establish diagnoses.
• Develop and implement treatment plans in line with the best medical practices.
• Provide ongoing primary healthcare to patients, including physical examinations, health screenings, and immunizations.
• The physician collaborates with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care.
• Counsel and educate patients on health and wellness, including lifestyle modifications and disease prevention.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and patient information.
• Participate in on-call rotations as required.
• The physician keeps current with medical advancements, best practices, and continuing medical education.

Primary Care Physician - Requirements

• Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
• Certifications: Must be ABIM or ABFM certified.
• Licensure: State medical license and DEA registration.
• Experience: Minimum of twelve (12) continuous months of experience within the last thirty-six (36) months performing services similar in scope to those defined herein, in a public or private institution.
