Tri-Axle Dump Driver 1

The Tri-Axle Dump Driver 1 is responsible for supporting NESL through performing the proper day-to-day driving and delivery activities combined with maintaining proper truck maintenance and appearance.

Responsible for transporting and delivering material safely, accurately, and on time.

Deliver exceptional customer service and professional communication to both internal and external customers.

Communicate with dispatch regarding daily activities including any issues with onsite delivery challenges.

Maintain truck cleanliness inside and out and report any mechanical issues.

Maintain operator logs and records in accordance with all DOT, FMCSA, and NESL policies related to commercial driver standards.

Conduct pre/post-trip truck inspections including checking coolant, motor oil, hydraulic oil, washer, and power steering fluid.

Responsible for proper care and use of electronic devices including tablets and software applications.

Identifying and properly reporting any safety risks.

May perform other duties as assigned.

Possess a valid Class A or B driver's license and compliant with NESL Driving Standards.

Display a professional and courteous attitude to coworkers, supervisors, customers, and the general public at all times.

Demonstrate proper truck handling skills and truck knowledge, including passing a pre-trip inspection and on road driving test.

Report to the assigned work site ready to begin work at the designated start time.

Must pass a DOT physical, drug screen, and criminal background check.

Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Able to work various times during day, night or weekend hours.

Ability to work independently with attention to detail.

Able to follow direction and work effectively in a team environment.

Flexibility and the ability to operate under stressful, time-sensitive deadlines.
