Job Summary

Carondelet Medical Group is a physician-led cardiology practice with deep roots in Southern Arizona, backed by over 135 years of Carondelet Health Network's commitment to exceptional care. You'll join a collaborative, established team where administrative burdens are handled for you — billing, credentialing, HR, compliance, and marketing — so you can focus entirely on your patients. St. Joseph's Hospital, your primary practice home, is a nationally recognized cardiac center holding Comprehensive Stroke Center certification, Chest Pain Center accreditation, and Cardiac Arrest Receiving Center designation. • Specialty: General Cardiology, employed full-time with Carondelet Medical Group
• Schedule: 35–45 hours per clinic week
• Hospital rotation: Shared 7-days-on rotation; no calls after 5 PM
• Hospital duties: Consults, echocardiogram and EKG interpretation
• Patient volume: Clinic census 24–30 patients; hospital census 10–25 patients
• Dedicated structural heart team supporting high-risk patients, cardiogenic shock, structural/valvular disease, and STEMI/shock transfer management
• Practice setting: Multi-provider physician and APP team; centralized professional services support

• MD or DO degree
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology
• Arizona medical license, or eligibility to obtain one

Organization Description

Established in 1961, St. Josephs Hospital in Tucson is home to the Carondelet Neurological Institute and the Carondelet Joint Replacement Center. The hospital offers advanced care that includes a Level I Trauma Center, Comprehensive Stroke Center and spacious and comfortable labor and delivery units.
