1st Class Outside Machinist

Genesis Industrial Staffing is looking for a 1st Class Outside Machinist in the Pascagoula, MS area.

• Must pass hair follicle drug screen and 7 year background check
• Pay is $40 an hour
• Per Diem of $147.04 for days worked is offered if you are 75 miles away and have a power, water, or gas bill in your name.
• Offering a sign on bonus up to $1,500 and PTO !!!

Job Description
Installs, aligns, and repairs ship machinery such as propelling machinery, auxiliary motors, pumps, ventilating equipment, steering gear, laundry and galley equipment, working from blueprints and using hand tools, calipers and micrometers. lays out passage holes on bulkheads, decks, and other surfaces for connection such as shafting and steam lines. Align reduction gears, bearing, shafting, propellers, and rudder and steering engine assemblies.

Basic Qualifications

• Requires a minimum of 4 or more years of experience as an outside machinist.
