Same-day pay via DailyPay and direct deposit offered Competitive hourly rates and 1.5x holiday pay rates Flexible scheduling – only work when you want to Bonuses and performance incentives Referral bonuses for referring friends or facilities Access to exclusive shifts only available on NurseDash Discounted supplemental health insurance plans 24/7 support team MedSurg RN Responsibilities Typical patient ratio of 8:1, supported by Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) Work in an acute inpatient rehab setting with stepdown-level acuity Perform lab work, wound care, IV starts, and catheter insertions COVID-19 vaccination is not required; completion of an on-site attestation form is sufficient Consult and coordinate with the healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care plans Administer prescribed medications (oral, subcutaneous, IV) and document per policy Report any adverse medication or treatment reactions Educate patients on surgical and post-treatment care Record patient medical information, histories, and vital signs accurately Monitor and adjust specialized medical equipment; interpret and record readings Initiate corrective actions in response to adverse patient symptoms Provide bedside care for a variety of medical patients, including pre- and post‑op Develop and implement patient education plans in collaboration with physicians Assist physicians during exams and procedures Respond to life-saving situations using established nursing protocols Contribute to discharge planning and transitions of care Ensure timely and complete documentation of all care provided Perform other duties within scope of RN practice as assigned MedSurg Registered Nurse Job Requirements Minimum 1 Year Experience as a registered nurse (RN) – Medical/Surgical Willing to work at facilitieslocated between New Braunfels and San Antonio , including nearby areas like Converse, Marion, and Live Oak Valid Texas Registered Nurse License Ability to quickly adapt to a new team and setting Desire to work in a fast-paced environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
