Aerospace Manufacturing – Night Shift Assembly & Coremaker

Positions: Assembly Technician & Coremaker

We are seeking dependable and motivated individuals to join our night shift aerospace manufacturing team as Assembly Technicians and Coremakers. These positions play an important role in producing high-quality components while following established procedures, safety requirements, and quality standards.

The ideal candidates are detail-oriented, dependable, comfortable working in a physically demanding manufacturing environment, and willing to learn and grow with our team. Previous manufacturing, assembly, foundry, or coremaking experience is preferred, but on-the-job training is available.

Assembly Technician Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, work instructions, and technical drawings.

Assemble components and products according to specifications and established procedures.

Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.

Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and customer requirements.

Perform self-inspections throughout the assembly process.

Accurately complete required job and production documentation.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines.

Report quality issues, equipment problems, or discrepancies to management.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Coremaker Responsibilities

Safely produce cores, copes, and drags using patterns, procedures, and work instructions.

Install chills, locators, vents, risers, insulators, and other required materials.

Pack, season, and turn out products according to established procedures.

Inspect materials and finished work to ensure quality requirements are met.

Accurately scan in and out of jobs and report processed quantities.

Complete, date, and sign required routing and production documentation.

Maintain proper inventory and notify supervision when materials are needed.

Retrieve, inspect, clean, and properly store patterns and boxes after use.

Safely operate hoists, carts, and other equipment used in the coremaking process.

Maintain tools and equipment and report necessary repairs to management.

Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of obstructions.

Report problems, defects, or discrepancies to management.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements

Previous assembly, manufacturing, foundry, coremaking, or related experience preferred.

Ability to read and understand work instructions and technical drawings.

Basic math skills.

Familiarity with hand and power tools is preferred.

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Good communication skills.

Ability to safely perform repetitive physical tasks.

Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Ability to push/pull up to 100 pounds.

Must be willing to work in a physically demanding manufacturing environment.

On-the-job training is provided while working under an experienced operator until position certification is achieved.

Physical Requirements

Standing: 100% of the workday

Sitting: 0%

Maximum lift: 50 lbs.

Maximum push/pull: 100 lbs.

Job requires frequent twisting, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, and use of hand tools.

No exposure to severe weather conditions.
