Respiratory Unit - Respiratory Therapist - $1500 per week.

Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 3 months of Cerner experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: HealthTrust Program - Community Health Systems (CHS) and no current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - Community Health Systems (CHS).

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - In addition to meeting the unit experience requirements, your work experience needs to reflect at least 12 months (1 year) of uninterrupted experience working in the same unit/specialty you’re applying to. - Minimum ICU, general floors, and ED experience required. - Minimal NICU and pediatrics experience required, just enough to cover the ED.

Unit Details: - Provides cardiopulmonary services to both inpatients and outpatients. - Responsibilities include assisting physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures, delivery of medicated aerosols via medical compressed gas, maintaining airways, ventilator management, intubations, and blood gases.

7 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 12 months

Driver’s license required for submission

Certifications:

• CRT (Certified Respiratory Therapist) or the alternative certification RRT

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
