PRODUCTION MANAGEMENT MANAGER

As Production Director, you are responsible for all elements of the production for each assigned project/event from start to finish and for executing the approved production-specific Scope of Work in support of client goals and objectives. General responsibilities include management of all production related personnel including, but not limited to, internal producers, outside vendors/suppliers, and will involve leading multiple projects simultaneously at various stages of activation.
This person will also play a critical role in the development of programs which will include, concept development, feasibility work, development of the overall project plan, comprehensive pre-production work, budget development, management and tracking P/L, and the overall quality of projects/events. By working closely with internal and external teams in a collaborative manner this person is responsible for executing the approved production-specific Scope of Work.

Manage, mentor, and motivate junior production staff.
Assist business development efforts in determining feasibility of projects/events and establishing production budgets for new business proposals (RFPs). Serve as primary Production team contact throughout project/event with internal and external teams.
Collaborate with senior level Production, Account, Creative, Strategy, and Technology in establishing a comprehensive project plan.
Direct and oversee all production related communications, documentation, and required deliverables required by the project in a timely, detailed, efficient, professional, and courteous manner, always maintaining the highest standards of quality.
Ensure staff execute at the highest level of industry standards and in accordance with company policies and SOPs.
Establish and maintain best practices and processes that meet client needs and provide continual improvement to our operations.
Create, manage and meticulously track detailed event and operational timelines.
Produce detailed operational plans, including servicing and delivery schedules, load in and strike schedules, accessibility issues, on-site communications, weather preparedness and contingency planning.
Implement plans for staffing procedures, budget tracking, project timelines, critical paths, production schedules, Run of Show, meeting agendas, contingency and emergency actions, etc. created.
Keep senior level production staff briefed, as applicable, on a regular basis, related to any revisions to SOW’s and budgets.
Recruit, hire and manage production crews and staff based on project need.
Source and secure new vendors in accordance with the company’s SOP’s and policies. Monitor and provide feedback on performances of vendors.
Submit all status reports, photo/digital documentation, and other evidence of production as required by Account team and Clients.
Reconcile all production budgets and prepare post event analysis of production.
Post-production Supervision
BA/BS in marketing, business administration, communications, or related field.
8 - 10 years of direct experience in producing/managing large experiential programs and events, preferably with at least 3 years in an experiential agency environment.
Very strong client/customer service experience and focus.
Additional experience in at least 2 of the following specialized areas: audio/video/lighting, mobile marketing tours, set fabrication, live event activations, and corporate meetings.
Experience with project management tools.
Strong network of production personnel and service providers to tap for projects and events.
Experience in digital asset management and tracking (platform and content based).
Demonstrated work, personal experience in sports and entertainment, multi-cultural, technology, lifestyle industries.
Exceptional and proven organizational, planning, managerial and client interfacing skills.
Superior management, leadership, and interpersonal communication skills.
Excellent ability to manage internal and external crews and staff.
Ability to multi-task, manage priorities and commitments, and meet deadlines.
Excellent computer skills that include Microsoft Office (including PowerPoint, Word and Excel).
Ability to manage projects/events within budget.
Strong work ethic and ability to thrive and enjoy a fast-paced, dynamic, flexible work environment.
Must be flexible, and comfortable, in working non-traditional hours as needed (some nights and weekends).
Willingness to work a hybrid schedule (1-2 days in office per week) and travel up to 50% of the time.
