As part of the Balls Food Stores family, we offer the stability of a locally owned company with deep community roots.This is a great fit for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, takes pride in creating quality beverages, and thrives on connecting with guests while keeping operations efficient and organized.Key Responsibilities & Job DutiesPrepare handcrafted coffee, espresso beverages, and food items to company recipe and presentation standardsProvide friendly, helpful, and respectful guest service at all times to create a welcoming coffeehouse experienceEngage with guests, answer questions, and make product recommendations to enhance their visit and drive salesMaintain a clean, organized, and safe coffeehouse and work areaFollow all food safety, sanitation, and personal hygiene standardsOperate POS systems, scanners, and related equipment accuratelyStock, rotate, and merchandise products using FIFO methods to ensure freshness and minimize wasteMonitor inventory levels and communicate low or out-of-stock items to leadershipStay informed on promotions, seasonal beverages, and store initiativesCommunicate clearly with teammates and leadership to support smooth daily operationsCollaborate with other departments to support overall store performance and guest satisfactionAssist with cleaning, restocking, and prep work during slower periodsSupport loss prevention efforts and follow company policies and proceduresParticipate in required trainings and continuous learning opportunitiesRemain productive and support store readiness at all timesOther job duties as assignedMinimum QualificationsRequired: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experienceRequired: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysPreferred: Previous experience in coffee, food service, grocery, or retail environments
