Join Ryder System, Inc. as a Truck Driver – CDL Class A Solo Regional. Position Overview Immediate opening at Ryder in Jonesboro, GA. You will drive a 53‑foot dry van in a day cab or sleeper configuration, delivering hardware along a regional route from Virginia to Florida and east of Mississippi. Compensation $1,320 or more per week, increasing with hours, miles, stops, and overnight pays. Daily pay components include $0.53 per mile, $23.75 per stop, and $28.00 per night for 1‑3 nights. Pay schedule: Monday–Friday or Tuesday–Saturday, with start times Noon to 5:00 AM. Benefits Uniform, cell phone, and boot allowance. Paid personal time off (80 hours accrued first year). Ability to follow written and oral instructions and read/write laws, regulations, and company policies. Responsibilities Maintain compliance with all applicable federal and state laws and company policies. Identify and mitigate safety hazards and keep accurate logs.
