InMotion Physical Therapy is seeking a friendly, professional, and detail-oriented Front Desk Receptionist / Patient Care Coordinator to provide front office and patient care coordination support in a busy physical therapy setting.

This is a full-time position averaging approximately 35 hours per week. Due to the temporary coverage needs associated with maternity leaves, the employee should expect a variable schedule through May 2027, with no permanent or set weekly schedule during this transition period. The schedule may vary based on clinic needs, staff coverage, and patient volume.

As staffing needs stabilize, the position is expected to transition into a role focused primarily on Patient Care Coordinator responsibilities, including coordinating patient care, managing scheduling, communicating with patients, and supporting the overall patient experience.



 

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients in a courteous, professional, and welcoming manner.
• Create and manage new patient accounts, including verifying and updating patient information.
• Schedule and coordinate appointments for new and existing patients to support continuity of care.
• Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls in a professional and timely manner.
• Collect patient payments, accurately track charges, and maintain related documentation.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure documentation is complete and up to date.
• Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and other members of the clinic team.
• Provide professional, compassionate, and responsive service throughout the patient’s experience.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.
• Assist with general administrative and office tasks as needed.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday availability required
• Business hours generally fall between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM
• Approximately 35 hours per week
• No permanent or set weekly schedule through May 2027 due to temporary maternity leave coverage and changing staffing needs
• Weekly hours and days may vary based on clinic coverage needs, patient volume, and staff schedules
• The position is expected to transition to a more consistent schedule and become primarily focused on Patient Care Coordinator responsibilities as maternity leave coverage concludes and staffing needs stabilize
