From complex diagnostics to routine prenatal scans, you'll be a vital part of a care team that puts empathy, excellence, and innovation first. Responsibilities Include:
- Perform high-quality ultrasound exams across a wide spectrum of clinical indications
- Follow established imaging protocols and physician directives for each case
- Ensure accurate patient identification, comfort, and preparation
- Maintain and operate advanced imaging equipment, including portable ultrasound units
- Collaborate closely with radiologists and care teams to ensure timely interpretation and care coordination
- Document all imaging procedures accurately using RIS/PACS systems
- Support quality initiatives and promote a safe, compassionate environment for all patients
- Graduate of an accredited (CAAHEP) Diagnostic Sonography program
- Associate degree required; bachelor's degree preferred
- Equivalent Allied Health degree with 12 months of full-time diagnostic sonography instruction acceptable
- ARDMS certification in at least one modality (Abdomen required within 1 year)
- OB/GYN specialty certification preferred
- CPR certification strongly preferred
- Proficiency in sonographic technique and a strong understanding of anatomy and pathology
- Familiarity with PACS/RIS systems and digital imaging workflow
- Compassionate bedside manner and clear communication with patients of all backgrounds
- Adaptability in fast-paced, high-volume care settings
- Physical ability to lift, push, and move portable imaging equipment and assist with patient transfers
