Pay: $19–$21 per hour, depending on experience

About the Opportunity

A growing fast-casual restaurant concept specializing in chicken wings and made-to-order food is seeking two motivated, hands-on Assistant Managers to join its team in Massachusetts.

This is an opportunity for an experienced restaurant leader who can direct daily operations, develop employees, hold team members accountable, and help build a strong management team. The business is experiencing sales growth and is looking for leaders who can bring consistency to shifts, improve team performance, and prepare employees for future leadership opportunities.

One opening is available in Worcester, the primary hiring priority, and one in Roslindale.

Important: Candidates must have reliable transportation and access to their own vehicle. Initial training will take place at another restaurant location in Randolph, MA, before transitioning to the assigned store.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations and ensuring smooth shift execution.
• Direct team members, assign responsibilities, and maintain clear communication during busy service periods.
• Lead by example and remain actively involved in restaurant operations.
• Coach, train, and develop employees while building a pipeline of future Shift Leaders and restaurant managers.
• Hold team members accountable for attendance, performance, food quality, cleanliness, and company standards.
• Address performance issues directly, professionally, and consistently.
• Make proactive decisions to resolve operational challenges before they escalate.
• Help stabilize shifts through effective leadership, organization, and follow-through.
• Support cash handling, register procedures, and accurate end-of-shift processes.
• Assist with employee scheduling and staffing decisions, with training provided.
• Monitor inventory and product levels while helping minimize waste.
• Maintain food safety, sanitation, cleanliness, and health-code compliance.
• Deliver a positive guest experience through speed of service, order accuracy, and consistent food quality.
• Collaborate with the General Manager to improve restaurant performance and develop the next generation of leaders.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant management experience is required, such as Assistant Manager, Assistant General Manager, Shift Manager, or Shift Leader.
• Quick-service or fast-casual restaurant experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience in a high-volume restaurant environment is a major plus.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to give clear direction and hold employees accountable.
• Excellent communication, organization, and team-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced setting.
• Comfortable addressing performance issues and having direct conversations when necessary.
• Proactive decision-maker who takes ownership instead of waiting for problems to escalate.
• Punctual, dependable, and reliable, with a strong sense of responsibility.
• Open availability for nights and weekends.
• Ability to work approximately 45–50 hours per week, including substantial evening and weekend coverage.
• Must have reliable transportation and access to a vehicle to complete initial training at the Randolph, MA location.

Schedule & Training

• Approximately 45–50 hours per week.
• Typical shifts are approximately nine hours.
• Open availability is required across operating hours of approximately 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 a.m., seven days a week.
• Expected to be present in the restaurant approximately four nights per week.
• Initial training lasts approximately four to six weeks, depending on experience and skill level.
• Training may take place at the Randolph, MA location before assignment to Worcester or Roslindale.
• A $100 gas stipend every two weeks is provided during the training period.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay: $19–$21 per hour, depending on experience.
• The company pays 50% of insurance premiums.
• 401(k) eligibility begins as soon as available under the applicable plan terms.
• Training gas stipend of $100 every two weeks.

Career Growth

The company is focused on developing strong Assistant Managers into future General Managers. High-performing leaders may have an opportunity to advance to a General Manager role within approximately one to two years, depending on performance and business needs.

With three new restaurant locations planned, there may be additional opportunities for advancement. General Manager positions include participation in a bonus program.
