Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist (RT) Pediatric (PEDS) at a healthcare facility in Spokane Valley, Washington. This position involves providing respiratory therapy services to adult and geriatric patients, with the potential to care for pediatric and infant patients. The role requires collaboration with unit staff to deliver high-quality care in a small community hospital setting.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week, every other weekend required.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Washington State license; certifications including RRT (Respiratory Therapist Registered), ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS; basic respiratory therapist skills; critical care experience including ventilators, BiPAPs, HFNC; experience with respiratory equipment and accessories; ability to work in all departments with assigned areas per shift; familiarity with EPIC electronic medical record system.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in nursery pediatric care; comfort with pediatric respiratory procedures.
• Additional Information: Orientation includes 1 day hospital orientation and 2-3 precepted shifts, with manager approval for additional orientation if needed. The facility is a 123-bed hospital, Level 3 Trauma Center, with a culture that values engaged and positive team members. Scrub color is flexible, and parking is free in designated areas.
