The GCB nurse may serve as a coordinator in collaboration with other disciplines for purposes of coordination of patient care issues.Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition and carries out physician and nursing orders.Position Responsibilities for LPNs:Perform duties under the direction of the medical prescribers, psychiatric prescribers and/or RN.These duties include but are not limited to: vitals, phlebotomy, point-of-care labs and testing, vaccinations and psychiatric medication administration.Prepare clients and assist physicians with patient exams and/or treatment; obtain vital signs, draw laboratory specimens.Provide education and training to staff, family members and other significant patient supports related to illness, disease, and medications.Requirements:Licensure by the Ohio Board of Nursing as a Registered Nurse or a Licensed Practical Nurse is required.Experience in working with individuals who have substance use disorders and/or co-occurring disorders is preferred but not required (Selected candidate must be open to training)GCBHS has been named a Top Workplace in Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky every year since 2010!
