Dental Assistant

We are a specialty endodontic practice in Ormond Beach, FL, seeking a Dental Assistant with a warm personality, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to excellent patient care. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a modern, team-focused environment that provides cutting-edge root canal therapy and endodontic microsurgery.

full-time $20 - $26 per hour

Monday-Thursday 8-5
Friday 8-3
Saturday & Sunday closed

• Basic life support
• Driver’s license
• Expanded Functions Dental Assistant
• Experienced Dental Assistant (1+ years)
• General Dentistry
• Other Dental Software
• Registered dental assistant / Certified dental assistant

Responsibilities include:
Assisting the endodontist during root canal and microsurgical procedures
Setting up and breaking down operatories
Taking digital radiographs and assisting with CBCT imaging
Maintaining strict infection control and sterilization protocols
Accurately documenting clinical notes in dental software (PBS Enterprise )
Preparing instruments and managing inventory
Ensuring patient comfort and providing clear post-operative instructions
Qualifications:
Current Florida Dental Assistant Certification
Florida X-ray Certification (required)
EFDA certification preferred but not required
Prior experience in endodontics is a plus (but we’re happy to train the right candidate)
CPR/BLS certification
Strong communication skills and a professional, team-oriented attitude
