Software Engineer-Developer 3Our organization is seeking qualified software engineers in Oklahoma City to develop leading-edge solutions. This role involves working in an agile, collaborative environment with modern software development tools to support development and integration tasks for an aerospace platform. The position offers a hybrid work arrangement, requiring occasional travel to the Oklahoma City site.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and test software components and functions.Support the development of software functional requirements.Contribute to software architecture trades and revise existing architecture.Specify internal and external software interfaces.Conduct software test-driven development.Conduct and support peer reviews on all software life cycle data.Contribute to the success of an Agile development team.Support sprint planning and meet sprint commitments.Required QualificationsEducation: A bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry is required.Experience: 5+ years of experience with embedded (real-time) software development is required.Technical Skills: Proficiency in Ada and experience with Agile development practices are required.Preferred QualificationsPrevious technical experience in an aerospace environment.Proficiency in the design and implementation of multi-threaded real-time applications.Self-motivated problem-solving skills with the ability to take initiative.Strong problem-solving and communication skills.Work EnvironmentThis is a full-time, first-shift position with flexible start and end times. The role is hybrid, with a preference for candidates who can be onsite as needed.
