Senior Automation Engineer

We're a Series A startup with a really great work/life/balance and a fantastic team!We're looking for an Automation Engineer with 3-5 years automation experience. You will be working to create tests, frameworks, and tooling. In addition to helping improve team velocity through automation and streamlining testing processes.You are someone who is organized, collaborative and possess a demonstrated ability in QA Tools and processes. As a team member, your knowledge of testing methodologies will help the QA Tools team release daily with confidence.What you'll be doing here:Maintain and expand software QA methodologies, tools, and processesMaintain and create automation frameworks, tooling and testsHands-on experience to refine/extend test automation frameworks to support the QA Tools teamParticipate in test framework design discussions, reviews, and implementationMaintain and expand existing Ruby/Webdriver automationClearly write concise test cases, plans, and defectsDocument test suites and maintain existing librariesPerform manual testing to help validate enhancements, features, and bug-fixesWork with a cross-functional team of product managers and developersAbout you and your skills:Experience working on test frameworksExperience in developing automation test scripts, execution, and maintenanceExperience in Java, Selenium WebdriverExperience with Development Tools, QA, and Agile tools: JIRA, Testrail for JIRA, Git, Jenkins/TravisExperience with monitoring tools (Sumo, Datadog, Rollbar)Demonstrated experience with Agile Development/SCRUMExperience with API TestingBe able to work well individually as well as in a team environmentEffective written and verbal communication skillsMust be proactive, self-directed, self-motivated, detailed, quick-learner and organizedBenefits:We pay 100% of the cost of both your medical and dental premiums directly to the insurance companiesEstablish an HSA to cover any out-of-pocket expenses you may incur that are not covered by the insuranceEmployee parking/MBTA costsHost lots of fun all-company eventsFully stocked kitchen
