A major energy client seeking a Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Professional who will be responsible for supporting the site team during the construction phase of the project. The ideal candidate will have a degree in safety or related field, professional safety certification, construction site HSE and electrical safety experience, including in high voltage distribution environments.

Summary of Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary HSE contact for subcontractors, client teams, and project leadership.

• Review HSE plans, subcontractor qualifications, and support hazard identification and control.

• Conduct site inspections, audits, and incident investigations; drive corrective actions.

• Lead and document LOTO planning, procedure development, isolation verification, and compliance audits.

• Facilitate risk assessments (JHA/JSA, ALARP) and support continuous HSE improvement.

• Maintain required HSE records and prepare routine reports.

• Promote Company's core values, Life Saving Rules, and ESG initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of HSE experience in construction or industrial settings.

• Strong communication, leadership, and technical writing skills.

• Authorization to work in the U.S.

• Experience supporting matrixed teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• CSP, CIH, or similar certification.

• Construction HSE experience (civil, structural, commissioning).

• Electrical safety and high-voltage distribution experience.

• Substation construction knowledge.

• Proficiency with digital HSE tools and LOTO documentation.
